4.5 stars: When I came across the discription for this story I knew I had to read it. I love MC reads and Shifter books, and Crows/Ravens are my spirit animal. This is also the first story that I have read from this author.

This was a unique take on both genres MC and Shifter. The author followed a few of the typical rules, but broken out of the mold to create her own unique and different world. The characters didn't follow traditional roles either. It was a refreshing read, with a great plot and funny lines. I loved Vina and though she was a great take on a female shifter. I am so used to MC reads being dark and gritty that it took me a few chapters to realize (and adjust) tgat thus was going to be a lighter read. There were some heart breaking moments with Ramsey, reguarding Tenlee, but it just made me fall harder.

I look forward to reading mire from this series and I might check out a few others from this author. I am going to save them, however; as my light, between dark reads. If youbare looking for a different read, one that breaks with tradition, give this story a chance. I recommend it greatly!

I love T.S. Joyce’s books. She is amazing at capturing emotion and delivering heartfelt reality. She also has a way of taking the anti-hero from previous books and telling their story in such a way that you fall for them. There never is just one side to a story and she tells both sides with such raw truth. Can’t wait for her next book!
Talk about drop everything and read!! Holy smokes people! This book is so stinkin' good. I cannot tell you enough how much I loved it and I am mad at myself that I devoured it like an addicted.

It is really that good. I have reread parts of this book twice now. I just love how Ramsey Hunt and Vina Marsh are such a great couple. He is dark and broody, and she is light and calm. One would think that she would run screaming for the hills, but she sees something in this Alpha that made her dig her heels in and fight for him when he thought he wasn't worth fight for.

Vina is the only person who actually saw Ramsey for who he truly was and did not judge him for it. She stood by him and fought for him and with him when he thought he was all alone. She gained the trust of his crow when even Ramsey could not control him. She loved them both when they needed it the most. I just adored her character. She was strong and Ramsey and his crow both noticed she was the perfect match for them.

In return even when Ramsey did not think he was bonding to Vina he was with little subtle things he would do for her. Ramsey's crow was enamored with her as well. He wanted to know what drawn Ramsey to her.

I cannot wait to read more books in this series. Rike really needs to find his one and only. He was such a fun supporting character in this book. He always had Ramsey and Vina's backs.

Ramsey Hunt - the King of the Crows we loved to hate (For The Soul Of An Outlaw) is spiraling into hell without the woman his crow chose as their mate. And he's taking his club down with him. He knows that soon someone will challenge him for king and he'll die.
Vina Marsh is a moose shifter. A very rare shifter, but Vina wants only one kind of animal for her mate. A crow. Because crows mate for life. After 3 years of waiting, the matchmaker pairs her with Ramsey.
There's one tiny problem...Ramsey never applied for a mate.
Walking into the crow clubhouse and meeting Ramsey she starts to immediately doubt her decision.
Even though Ramsey knows he's bad for Vina, there's something about her that eases him. Then he learns his crow is shutting him out and going to see her.
Ram doesn't think a relationship can happen and things won't end well, but maybe....with a little hope, Vina's light can remove some of the darkness.
OMG...I loved this! As always her stories get me every time. I bought this on release day back in May and I have to read her books a certain way. I know...I'm crazy! Not really. Her books are sooo emotional for me that I have to be in the right mindset to read them and very focused. I gotta be prepared for all sorts of emotions because honestly she makes you FEEL in her books. Love her so much for that! I read this book a couple days ago and doing the review now. Coincidentally her book 2 released today and I just started it. I'm still in a good place where I can start right away.
So, maybe I am a little nuts. Onto the review.

I'm not a spoiler...much at least on most books. So, I wont be giving a ton away since some might not have read it yet. I really LOVED this book because Ram was such a different person in Tenlee's book. He was a bad guy but then he wasnt. He's different and I got to understand him a lot better in his book. It wasnt his fault that he chose Ten...it was his crow who did and so he was kinda stuck without an end in sight now that he couldnt have Ten. Its interesting how separate him and his crow are. I loved Vina y'all! So sweet and I as much as I love Ten I get why Vina was angry with her. In some ways its not Ten's fault either BUT she did abandon Ram and knew how much he'd suffer so I get it. Kind of a damned if you do and damned if you dont. Thats all I'm saying. Loved the book! Okay one more thing....I squealed when I read what Vina was! I squealed like a girl because I LOVED it!
